I am a proud graduate of Bourbon County High School and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005. I began my nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital, where I worked from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, I joined the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital, where I continue to serve as a dedicated member of the nursing team.
Over the years, I have had the honor of being recognized for my commitment to patient care and nursing education. I received the University of Kentucky College of Nursing Excellence in Undergraduate Clinical Precepting Award in 2017, was named a Daisy Award recipient for extraordinary nursing in 2021, and was humbled to be commissioned a Kentucky Colonel in 2019 by a grateful patient.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband Phillip, whom I married in 2008, and our two sons, Kayden (14) and Dylan (10). Our lives are full of sports, school activities, and family adventures. I love being outdoors—whether we’re camping, fishing, or enjoying a beach vacation.
